Therapist- an Agent of Healing
From the Greek word, therapeia, which means curing & healing
Hi, I’m Kim!
When I was a child, I could not produce correct speech sounds. Since I knew I sounded different when speaking, I was hesitant to speak at all. My voice was hidden. When a Speech Therapist helped me learn to speak correctly, my errors were corrected and my confidence while speaking grew. To this day, I’m thankful for the intervention of a speech therapist in my life. If it wasn't for her help, I would be saying "wuds of joy" instead of Words of Joy. I hope to help children strengthen their voice, confidence, and skills when speaking. Educating and empowering caregivers to ensure a child’s speech-language growth and their healing is my deep desire.
